Kody was born December 14,2001 along with his twin sister Kassandra. He started having thousands of uncontollable seizures a day and was on 3 medications and no seizure control. He had to have a functional hemispherectomy(removal of half of the brain) at 3 months old. At 6 months of age he had to have an emergencey VP shunt put in due to hydrocephaly. He then had eye surgery, tubes in his ears,and his tonsils and adenoids removed. He still has more surgeries in the future. He is now 3 years old and scoots all over the place chasing his sister. He is off all meds and is seizure free and doing well. He is starting at school for the blind in January. He is a miracle baby.
